JOY 30" x 24"

Abstract painting. 30 x 24 Oil, cold wax and gold foil on canvas. 

I so much enjoyed painting this piece. It was a push and pull exercise. Much patience required but so worth it in the end!

I love nature, especially the sky and it’s many colours. It brings me much joy. I also live close to the Atlantic Ocean, which I also love. Just the presence of blue brings me joy. Therefore the title of this painting!
